A romantic relationship can be a source of both happiness, personal enrichment and growth. When we begin to experience difficulties with our partner however, we often start having negative and critical thoughts and feelings both about ourselves and about each other. When we feel that our needs for comfort, safety and intimacy are not being met we can feel lonely, sad, angry, apathetic and frustrated. We become unable to think clearly, can act rashly and can become trapped into inflexible and destructive patterns of interaction. This may start to make us doubt......
